It is hard to believe that a year has passed
since that horrible day of
9/11. A day when so many
innocent lives were lost, and so many families
were left without their loved ones....
We, the people of the United States have always
had a feeling of peace. We have always been
aware of the fighting and wars in other countries,
but we thought we were safe here, and nothing
would ever happen to us....
On September 11, 2001, this was all changed.
We now, always have a feeling of fear in the
backs of our minds. When will a horrific act
like this happen again to us?
Our government is trying so hard to promote
peace in the world. Our service men and woman
are having to be far away from home and their
loved ones to try to protect our country...
Our President says, "We will prevail"
and WE WILL.....
This horrible day may have changed our lives,
but one thing will never change....
We are,
always have been,
and always will be.
